La Concejalía de Bienestar Animal del Ayuntamiento de San Fulgencio, que dirige la concejala Ana Mª Villena, ha iniciado recientemente una campaña para incentivar a la población de San Fulgencio a que inscriba a sus perros, gatos y animales exóticos en el registro municipal. Una acción que “no mucha gente sabe que es obligatoria para perros y recomendable para gatos y animales exóticos, tal y como recoge la ordenanza municipal”, ha explicado la edil, y que tiene como principal objetivo “facilitar la localización del dueño o persona responsable en caso de pérdida o abandono del animal, fomentando de esta manera la tenencia responsable”, ha manifestado la edil. Este llamamiento también insta a los vecinos a mantener actualizados los datos de este censo, modificándolos cuando se produzca algún cambio en los mismos, como un cambio de domicilio o fallecimiento del animal.

De esta manera, y aunque no se resida todo el año en San Fulgencio, este procedimiento se podrá llevar a cabo en las oficinas de registro municipal del casco urbano, localizadas en la calle Trafalgar, y también de la urbanización, actualmente en el Centro Social. El horario de atención será de lunes a viernes, de 9:00 a 13:30 horas, y será necesario solicitar cita previa para ello a través de la Sede Electrónica municipal o a través de los teléfonos 96 679 42 01 y 96 679 56 99 para el casco urbano y la urbanización, respectivamente. La documentación a aportar incluye el pasaporte actualizado del animal con todas las vacunas al día, el certificado RIVIA (Registro Informático Valenciano de Identificación Animal), el documento de identificación del propietario/a y el justificante de pago de tasas. El coste de la inscripción es de 15 euros “con el que viene incluido una chapa identificativa con el número de registro, además de un obsequio por parte de la Concejalía”, ha manifestado la concejala.

En el caso de registrar un perro considerado de raza potencialmente peligrosa, además de la documentación ya mencionada, la edil ha indicado que “se deberá entregar también una declaración responsable que certifique que se está capacitado para proporcionar todos los cuidados al animal y no ha sido sancionado por infracciones en materia de tenencia de animales; un certificado de antecedentes penales, y un test psicotécnico que avale estar en posesión de las capacidades físicas y psicológicas para la tenencia de animales de estas características”. Asimismo, también será necesario acreditar la formalización de un seguro de responsabilidad civil por daños a terceros valorado en 120.2020,42 euros.

“Continuamos así con el compromiso adquirido por este equipo de gobierno desde el primer día de legislatura, en el que apostamos por un San Fulgencio más respetuoso y más consciente con el Bienestar Animal”, ha manifestado Villena.

Censo de colonias de gatos ferales

Por otro lado, la Concejalía de Bienestar Animal de San Fulgencio también ha realizado un llamamiento a la colaboración ciudadana para llevar a cabo un censo de colonias de gatos ferales en el municipio. Así, se solicita a las personas que lleven a cabo la alimentación de las mismas envíen un correo electrónico a aferrandez@ayto-sanfulgencio.es, indicando su nombre y apellidos, email y número de contacto, ubicación de la colonia y el número de animales. “De esta manera, podemos tener monitorizadas esas localizaciones y conocer los ejemplares que las componen”, ha indicado la concejala, “con el objetivo de ir controlando la población de estas colonias paulatinamente a través del programa CES de captura, esterilización y suelta”.

Census of feral cat colonies

Dieser Aufruf fordert die Nachbarn ausserdem auf, die Daten dieser Volkszählung auf dem neuesten Stand zu halten und sie zu ändern, wenn sich Änderungen an ihnen ergeben, z. B. eine Änderung der Adresse oder der Tod des Tieres.

Im Falle der Registrierung eines Hundes, der als potenziell gefährliche Rasse eingestuft wird, hat der Bürgermeister zusätzlich zu den oben genannten Unterlagen angegeben, dass „auch eine verantwortliche Erklärung abgegeben werden muss, aus der hervorgeht, dass er für die gesamte Pflege des Tieres geschult ist und dies nicht getan hat wegen Verstößen gegen die Tierhaltung sanktioniert; eine Vorstrafenbescheinigung und einen psychotechnischen Test, der garantiert, dass die physischen und psychischen Fähigkeiten vorhanden sind, um Tiere mit diesen Merkmalen zu halten. “ Ebenso muss die Formalisierung einer Haftpflichtversicherung für Schäden an Dritten im Wert von 120.2020,42 Euro nachgewiesen werden. “Wir setzen daher das Engagement dieses Regierungsteams seit dem ersten Tag der Legislatur fort, an dem wir uns für ein respektvolleres und bewussteres San Fulgencio mit Tierschutz einsetzen”, sagte Villena.

Volkszählung von Wildkatzenkolonien

Andererseits hat das Ministerium für Tierschutz von San Fulgencio auch die Zusammenarbeit der Bürger gefordert, um eine Volkszählung von Kolonien wilder Katzen in der Gemeinde durchzuführen. Daher werden die Personen, die die Fütterung derselben durchführen, gebeten, eine E-Mail an aferrandez@ayto-sanfulgencio.es zu senden, in der Name und Nachname, E-Mail-Adresse und Kontaktnummer, Standort der Kolonie und Anzahl der Tiere angegeben sind . “Auf diese Weise können wir diese Standorte überwachen lassen und die Proben kennen, aus denen sie bestehen”, sagte der Stadtrat, “mit dem Ziel, die Population dieser Kolonien schrittweise durch das CES-Programm zur Erfassung, Sterilisation und Freisetzung zu kontrollieren.”
