El Ayuntamiento de San Fulgencio amplía la suspensión de la tasa municipal para la instalación de terrazas exteriores de los establecimientos de hostelería de la localidad para todo el año 2021. La medida ha sido aprobada en un Pleno Extraordinario celebrado ayer, que tiene como objetivo “dar nuestro apoyo a todos los empresarios de este sector del término municipal, que tan duramente están padeciendo los efectos derivados de la Covid-19”, ha manifestado el alcalde de San Fulgencio, José Sampere.

Tal y como ha explicado primer edil, el Consistorio sanfulgentino ya aprobó, en marzo del pasado año, la suspensión de este impuesto municipal hasta finales de 2020 a raíz del cierre obligatorio de los establecimientos durante el confinamiento, “con la intención de paliar en la medida de lo posible los efectos económicos derivados de esa situación”. De esta manera, las cafeterías, bares, restaurantes y establecimientos similares de San Fulgencio “estarán exentos de pagar esta tasa también durante todo el 2021, con efecto retroactivo desde el mismo día 1 de enero, hasta el 31 de diciembre de este año”, ha informado Sampere.

El equipo de gobierno ha decidido renovar esta medida “para seguir prestando ayuda a la hostelería de la localidad en todo lo que esté en nuestras manos, en unos momentos en los que de nuevo han tenido que cerrar sus puertas por un periodo muy prolongado y que, en consecuencia, ha afectado negativamente a su actividad”, ha añadido el concejal de Hacienda, David Vives.

Por su parte, el alcalde ha señalado que “desde el gobierno municipal siempre vamos a intentar promover todas las políticas posibles que nos permitan apoyar a las empresas y comercios de nuestro término municipal, ya que forman parte imprescindible de nuestro tejido económico”.
