• Este año será la XXXVII edición de este concurso de relato breve de ámbito nacional al que los autores podrán enviar sus obras hasta el 7 de marzo

El Ayuntamiento de San Fulgencio ha dado a conocer la publicación de la convocatoria y bases del certamen literario ‘Villa de San Fulgencio’ para el año 2022. La Concejalía de Cultura pone así en marcha la que será la trigésimo séptima edición de este concurso de relato breve, en lengua castellana, al que autores de toda España podrán enviar sus obras hasta el lunes 7 de marzo.

El certamen cuenta con un premio de 1.000 euros para el relato ganador y 600 euros de accésit. Tal y como ha informado la edil de Cultura, Ana Mª Villena, “entregaremos el premio a los autores ganadores en un acto que llevaremos a cabo el próximo 23 de abril, Día Mundial del Libro, a partir de las 21:00 horas en el teatro Cardenal Belluga de San Fulgencio”. Además de los autores de los relatos seleccionados, “también está prevista la presencia de la periodista y escritora Nativel Preciado, quien ejercerá de madrina del evento”, ha indicado Villena.

Los trabajos deberán remitirse al Ayuntamiento de San Fulgencio de manera presencial o a través de correo postal junto al formulario anexo publicado en las bases, que podrán consultarse en la Sede Electrónica municipal y en la página web del Consistorio (DESCAGA AQUÍ).

I Feria del Libro de San Fulgencio

Enmarcado en las celebraciones del Día Mundial del Libro, la Concejalía de Cultura del municipio está preparando la que será la I Feria del Libro de San Fulgencio. En esta feria, que tendrá lugar el próximo 24 de abril, “queremos contar con la participación de escritores locales para dar a conocer sus libros y su obra”, ha indicado la concejala.

De esta manera, Villena ha querido hacer un llamamiento a la participación “de todos los autores y autoras que residan o sean oriundos de la localidad, para contar con un espacio en esta feria en el que dar difusión a sus publicaciones”. Los interesados deberán contactar con la Concejalía de Cultura en el teléfono 966794201, o a través de correo electrónico avillena@ayto-sanfulgencio.es.

Asimismo, y como actividad complementaria, la Concejalía también llevará a cabo un certamen literario local donde participarán los centros educativos del municipio.  Con estas acciones, el Consistorio “pretende conmemorar el Día del Libro por todo lo alto, con el objetivo de fomentar la afición por la lectura y la escritura entre la población, y convertir a San Fulgencio en un referente cultural en la Vega Baja”, ha declarado la edil.

The Town Council of San Fulgencio has announced the publication of the announcement and rules of the literary contest ‘Villa de San Fulgencio’ for the year 2022. The Department of Culture thus launches what will be the thirty-seventh edition of this short story competition, in Spanish, to which authors from all over Spain can send their works until Monday 7 March.

The competition has a prize of 1,000 euros for the winning story and 600 euros for the runners-up prize. As reported by the Councillor for Culture, Ana Maria Villena, “we will present the prize to the winning authors in a ceremony that will take place on 23 April, World Book Day, from 21:00 hours in the Cardenal Belluga theatre in San Fulgencio”. In addition to the authors of the selected stories, “the journalist and writer Nativel Preciado, who will be the patron of the event, will also be present,” Villena said.

The works must be sent to the San Fulgencio Town Hall in person or by post along with the attached form published in the rules, which can be consulted at the municipal electronic office and on the Consistory’s website (DOWNLOAD HERE).

First San Fulgencio Book Fair

As part of the celebrations for World Book Day, the town’s Department of Culture is preparing what will be the first San Fulgencio Book Fair. In this fair, which will take place on 24 April, “we want to have the participation of local writers to publicise their books and their work,” said the councillor.

In this way, Villena has called for the participation “of all authors who live in or are natives of the town, to have a space at this fair in which to publicise their publications”. Those interested should contact the Department of Culture on 966794201, or by email avillena@ayto-sanfulgencio.es.

In addition, and as a complementary activity, the Department will also organise a local literary competition in which the municipality’s schools will participate.  With these actions, the Consistory “aims to commemorate the Book Day in style, with the aim of promoting the love of reading and writing among the population, and make San Fulgencio a cultural reference in the Vega Baja,” said the councillor.
