El Ayuntamiento de San Fulgencio, a través de la Concejalía de Obras y Servicios, ya ha comenzado los trabajos para la implementación del proyecto de huertos urbanos en el municipio. Tal y como ha informado el edil responsable, Francisco Molero, estarán ubicados en la zona de urbanizaciones de San Fulgencio, “en un terreno comprendido entre las calles Galicia, Rosales, Dublín y Belgrado, que cuenta con 3.200 metros cuadrados de extensión y unas 68 parcelas cultivables de tamaño variable, de entre 6 y 26 metros cuadrados”.
La empresa Hidraqua será la encargada de llevar a cabo estas actuaciones, que tienen un coste total de 79.088 euros. Está previsto que las obras finalicen antes del verano, y como ha afirmado el concejal, el Consistorio ha puesto en marcha la redacción de la normativa necesaria para que aquellos vecinos que estén interesados puedan solicitar una de estas parcelas para su cultivo. “Informaremos a través de los canales de información del Ayuntamiento en cuanto esta ordenanza municipal haya completado toda su tramitación, que es compleja, y se vaya a abrir el plazo de solicitud”, ha añadido.
Por su parte, Elena García, técnico de Hidraqua, ha asegurado que en estos huertos urbanos “se llevará a cabo en todo momento un uso responsable y eficiente del agua, para lo que se va a instalar un sistema de riego que aproveche al máximo los recursos naturales y adaptado al método de cultivo de ‘paradas en Crestall’, el más óptimo para implementar en este espacio”. Este sistema permite trabajar la tierra con la mínima superficie de tierra sin productos químicos, con el mínimo consumo de agua y sin pesticidas.
El proyecto contempla una utilidad para esta parcela municipal que dará a los vecinos “la oportunidad de participar de una experiencia de agricultura ecológica, evitando el uso de productos químicos y con una zona de compostaje para la creación de abono”, ha afirmado el concejal. Asimismo, Molero ha indicado que está previsto que “sea también un espacio de encuentro y esparcimiento al aire libre para todos los sanfulgentinos, al incorporar una pérgola, fuentes, mesas de pícnic y aparcamientos para bicicletas, para que todo el que lo desee pueda disfrutar de este entorno”.

The Hidraqua company will be in charge of carrying out these actions, which have a total cost of 79,088 euros. The works are expected to finish before summer, and as stated by the councilor, the Town Hall has launched the drafting of the necessary regulations so that those residents who are interested can request one of these plots for cultivation. “We will inform through the information channels of the City Council as soon as this municipal ordinance has completed all its processing, which is complex, and the application period is going to open,” he added.
For her part, Elena García, Hidraqua technician, has assured that in these urban gardens “a responsible and efficient use of water will be carried out at all times, for which an irrigation system will be installed that takes maximum advantage of the natural resources and adapted to the cultivation method of ‘stops in Crestall’, the most optimal to implement in this space”. This system allows to work the land with the minimum surface of land without chemical products, with the minimum consumption of water and without pesticides.
The project includes a utility for this municipal plot that will give residents “the opportunity to participate in an experience of organic farming, avoiding the use of chemicals and with a composting area to create compost,” said the councilor. Elena García, Hidraqua-Technikerin, hat ihrerseits versichert, dass in diesen städtischen Gärten „jederzeit ein verantwortungsbewusster und effizienter Umgang mit Wasser durchgeführt wird, für den ein Bewässerungssystem installiert wird, das die natürlichen Ressourcen und die maximale Nutzung optimal nutzt angepasst an die Kultivierungsmethode „Stopps in Crestall“, die am besten in diesem Raum umgesetzt werden kann. “ Dieses System ermöglicht es, das Land mit der minimalen Landfläche ohne chemische Produkte, mit minimalem Wasserverbrauch und ohne Pestizide zu bearbeiten.
Das Projekt umfasst ein Versorgungsunternehmen für dieses kommunale Grundstück, das den Bewohnern “die Möglichkeit bietet, an einer Erfahrung des ökologischen Landbaus teilzunehmen, den Einsatz von Chemikalien zu vermeiden und über eine Kompostierungsfläche zur Kompostierung zu verfügen”, sagte der Stadtrat.
