The Department of Culture of San Fulgencio presents the first edition of the Summer Comedy Series

  • The municipal swimming pool will host every Friday the performances of four comedians, from August 11 to September 1

The mayor of San Fulgencio, José María Ballester, and the Councillor for Culture, Sara Nolasco, presented this morning the I Cycle of Summer Comedy in the municipality. An activity that will take place every Friday from 10:30 pm, from next August 11 until September 1, on the grounds of the municipal pool. In this way “we will have the performances of four impressive comedians who will have a good time with their monologues to all attendees, and that, through laughter and humor, will make us more bearable the hot August nights,” said the councillor.

The I Cycle of Comedy of San Fulgencio will begin on Friday, August 11 with the performance of comedian and monologuist Marco Antonio, who is part of the Comedy Central factory and is host of the show ‘Alicante Comedy Club’. On August 18 will be the turn of Eden Serrano, screenwriter and stand-up comedian, with almost a decade dedicated to live comedy. For his part, on August 25 we will enjoy the performance of comedian Ismael Galletero, with a great career in the world of comedy, having participated in several theatrical shows such as ‘Che apellidos valencianos’, ‘Aquellos maravillosos 90’ and ‘Murcianos 2′. The comedian Chely Capitán, a permanent member of ‘Las noches del Club de la Comedia’ and a regular contributor to radio programs on national radio stations, will put the finishing touch to this series of humor, the night of September 1.

The Councillor for Culture recalled that “the entrance to all monologues is “completely free until is full, which has a large capacity being outdoors”. For his part, the mayor of San Fulgencio, José María Ballester, wanted to invite “all the people from San Fulgencio, and also to all those who visit us at this time, to participate and enjoy this new initiative, that we hope will become a regular thing and can be repeated in the coming years”.
