El alcalde del municipio y responsable de la Concejalía de Seguridad Ciudadana, José Sampere, ha hecho entrega esta mañana de 21 nuevos chalecos antibala para todos los agentes que componen el cuerpo de Policía Local de San Fulgencio, acompañado de su comisario jefe, Cristóbal Rodríguez.
Esta nueva equipación y sus velcros identificativos ha sido adquirida por la Concejalía de Seguridad por un valor de 16.317 euros. El objetivo, tal y como ha indicado el primer edil, es “contar con un cuerpo de Policía preparado y bien equipado, dotado de las herramientas de trabajo adecuadas para poder llevar a cabo su labor de proteger a la ciudadanía de San Fulgencio con mayor facilidad y en las mejores condiciones de seguridad posibles”. Los chalecos modelo PBH610XSG/PROTECOP GPB son también resistentes contra objetos punzantes/cortantes, con una resistencia de 24 julios según la normativa aplicable.
El pasado sábado la localidad celebraba la festividad de los Santos Ángeles Custodios, patronos de la Policía Local, con un acto de imposición de condecoraciones y medallas en el Ayuntamiento del casco urbano en reconocimiento a las actuaciones realizadas en 2022 y sus agentes con 25 años de servicio, agradeciendo asimismo la labor que realizan a diario para mantener la seguridad en el municipio.

La Policía Local de San Fulgencio estrena nuevos dispositivos de radio TETRA que, tal y como ha indicado el alcalde del municipio y responsable del área de Seguridad Ciudadana, José Sampere, permitirán a los agentes poder conectar y formar parte de la red COMDES, la infraestructura de comunicaciones móviles de emergencias y seguridad de la Comunitat Valenciana. Se trata de una emisora y trece aparatos portátiles cuya adquisición ha tenido un coste de 10.636 euros para las arcas municipales, y que “son una herramienta fundamental para la coordinación de actuaciones en caso de emergencia, como fueron las inundaciones producidas por la DANA de 2019”, ha indicado el primer edil.
Estos dispositivos disponen de encriptación de extremo a extremo para asegurar la privacidad de las comunicaciones, excelente calidad de audio y baterías con duración de hasta 16 horas, que “permitirán una mejor comunicación y coordinación de actuaciones con los equipos de bomberos, servicios sanitarios o Protección Civil”, ha manifestado Sampere. El primer edil ha destacado la importancia de contar con “una unidad de policía bien equipada y que cuente con las herramientas adecuadas”, ya que “es la única manera de asegurar que pueden desempeñar correctamente sus funciones y garantizar al mismo tiempo la seguridad y protección de todos los ciudadanos de San Fulgencio”.

La Policía Local de San Fulgencio cuenta desde hace unos días con cuatro nuevos agentes entre sus filas. Tal y como ha informado el alcalde del municipio y responsable del área, José Sampere, los nuevos agentes se han incorporado recientemente como resultado del proceso de oposición iniciado por el Consistorio el pasado mes de marzo para dotar de personal a la plantilla de Policía Local del municipio.
“Dada la amplitud del territorio de nuestro término municipal, que abarca tanto el casco urbano como la zona de urbanizaciones, se hacía necesario un mayor número de agentes, para dar un mejor servicio a los vecinos y atender de una forma más cercana y eficaz a todos nuestros residentes”, ha justificado el primer edil. Con las recientes incorporaciones, la plantilla de la Policía Local de San Fulgencio ha quedado conformada finalmente por 29 personas, liderada por un Inspector Jefe, 21 agentes operativos, tres oficiales con funciones administrativas, y cuatro agentes interinos dedicados al control del tráfico.
De la misma manera, el Consistorio ha firmado diferentes acuerdos de colaboración con los municipios de San Isidro, Formentera del Segura, Benejúzar, Ibi, Aspe y Daya Nueva “para que la bolsa de trabajo creada tras este proceso de selección y en la que estaban inscritas 30 personas, pudiera dotar también de personal a sus respectivos servicios de Policía Local”, ha informado Sampere. Agentes de la Policía Local de San Fulgencio han impedido en los últimos días que se cometan dos robos en el municipio, tal y como ha informado la Concejalía de Seguridad Ciudadana que dirige el alcalde de San Fulgencio, José Sampere.
El primero de los robos frustrados tuvo lugar el pasado miércoles cuando, tras el aviso de un vecino, los agentes se personaron en una vivienda de la urbanización Marina de San Fulgencio, en la que tres encapuchados intentaban forzar la caja fuerte. La rapidez de los agentes evitó que los asaltantes llegaran a sustraer ningún objeto que, al percatarse de la presencia policial, emprendieron la fuga por las calles adyacentes a la vivienda. En su huida los asaltantes dejaron olvidada una mochila, que ha sido entregada a la Guardia Civil para su estudio y búsqueda de huellas dactilares para identificar a los individuos.
Asimismo, la Policía Local evitó el viernes un segundo robo en un establecimiento de la zona comercial del Sector VIII de San Fulgencio, con la detención de dos individuos por un supuesto delito de robo con violencia e intimidación. Una patrulla se personó de urgencia en el lugar tras el aviso del propietario, en el que se sorprendió a dos personas que intentaban forzar la caja fuerte. Los asaltantes se resistieron activamente a ser reducidos, por lo que uno de los agentes resultó herido y tuvo que ser atendido en el centro de salud. Ambos individuos fueron trasladados a las dependencias de la Guardia Civil de Guardamar y puestos a disposición judicial.
El éxito de estas actuaciones “son el resultado del esfuerzo de nuestros agentes para incrementar la seguridad ciudadana, además de reforzar la vigilancia de nuestras calles en los últimos meses para evitar que se den este tipo de sucesos en nuestro término municipal”, ha manifestado Sampere.
