Continúan a buen ritmo las obras de adecuación y mejora de accesos a las urbanizaciones a través de la CV-860, que conecta la localidad de San Fulgencio con la vecina ciudad de Elche. Así lo ha dado a conocer el alcalde del municipio, José Sampere, quien ha explicado que “estas actuaciones, que está llevando a cabo el Servicio Territorial de Carreteras de la Conselleria de Política Territorial, Obras Públicas y Movilidad”, tienen un presupuesto de aproximadamente 350.000 euros y su objetivo es “la instalación de una rotonda en el punto de acceso a la urbanización a través de la avenida de Goya para mejorar la seguridad vial de las personas que circulan por este punto tan transitado”.
Las obras, que se iniciaron a mediados del pasado mes de octubre, ya han superado uno de los puntos álgidos de su realización, que ha consistido en el desvío de la canalización de aguas del canal de regantes del Levante y que ya se han reconducido. El proyecto ha sido elaborado por el equipo de gobierno municipal y presentado a principios de esta legislatura por el alcalde y el concejal de Obras y Servicios, Francisco Molero, ante el jefe del servicio territorial de Obras Públicas, Enrique del Río. Está previsto que los trabajos finalicen en el mes de febrero.
Gracias a estas actuaciones, “se conseguirá una mayor regulación del tráfico rodado, aportando una mayor seguridad para todos aquellos usuarios que utilizan esta vía a diario, ya que es muy frecuentada por nuestros vecinos”, ha informado Sampere, “aliviando al mismo tiempo el acceso alternativo por la zona de las acequias”.

The works to adapt and improve access to the urbanisations along the CV-860, which connects the town of San Fulgencio with the neighbouring city of Elche, continue at a good pace. This was announced by the mayor of the municipality, José Sampere, who explained that “these actions, which are being carried out by the Territorial Road Service of the Regional Ministry of Territorial Policy, Public Works and Mobility”, have a budget of approximately €350,000 and their objective is “the installation of a roundabout at the access point to the urbanisation via Avenida de Goya to improve road safety for people who travel through this busy area”.
The work, which began in the middle of October, has already passed one of the main objectives of its completion, which was the diversion of water from the Levante irrigation channel, and which has now been redirected. The project has been drawn up by the municipal government team and presented at the beginning of this legislature by the Mayor and the Councillor for Works and Services, Francisco Molero, to the head of the territorial service of Public Works, Enrique del Río. The work is expected to be completed in February.
Thanks to these actions, “a greater regulation of road traffic will be achieved, providing greater security for all those users who use this road on a daily basis, as it is very frequented by our residents and visitors,” reported Sampere, “while alleviating the alternative access through the area of the irrigation canals.

Das Projekt wurde vom Team der Stadtregierung vorbereitet und zu Beginn dieser Legislaturperiode vom Bürgermeister und Stadtrat für Arbeiten und Dienstleistungen, Francisco Molero, vor dem Leiter des Territorialdienstes für öffentliche Arbeiten, Enrique del Río, vorgestellt. Die Arbeiten sollen im Februar abgeschlossen sein.
