- El cuerpo policial del municipio incorpora a su flota un vehículo adquirido por el Consistorio a través de renting al que se añadirá otro más antes de final de este año
La Policía Local de San Fulgencio estrena nuevos dispositivos de radio TETRA que, tal y como ha indicado el alcalde del municipio y responsable del área de Seguridad Ciudadana, José Sampere, permitirán a los agentes poder conectar y formar parte de la red COMDES, la infraestructura de comunicaciones móviles de emergencias y seguridad de la Comunitat Valenciana. Se trata de una emisora y trece aparatos portátiles cuya adquisición ha tenido un coste de 10.636 euros para las arcas municipales, y que “son una herramienta fundamental para la coordinación de actuaciones en caso de emergencia, como fueron las inundaciones producidas por la DANA de 2019”, ha indicado el primer edil.
Estos dispositivos disponen de encriptación de extremo a extremo para asegurar la privacidad de las comunicaciones, excelente calidad de audio y baterías con duración de hasta 16 horas, que “permitirán una mejor comunicación y coordinación de actuaciones con los equipos de bomberos, servicios sanitarios o Protección Civil”, ha manifestado Sampere. Los agentes de la Policía Local de San Fulgencio ya han recibido la formación necesaria para aprender a utilizar estos dispositivos y poder incorporarlos a sus funciones diarias de vigilancia del municipio.
Asimismo, el Ayuntamiento ha incorporado un nuevo vehículo a su flota policial a través de la modalidad de renting, al que se unirá otro automóvil antes de que finalice el año. La adquisición de estos vehículos forma parte del proceso iniciado por el Consistorio el año pasado para la renovación del parque móvil de la Policía Local, que contaba con coches cuya antigüedad podía resultar en un riesgo para la seguridad los propios agentes. El primer edil ha destacado la importancia de contar con “una unidad de policía bien equipada y que cuente con las herramientas adecuadas”, ya que “es la única manera de asegurar que pueden desempeñar correctamente sus funciones y garantizar al mismo tiempo la seguridad y protección de todos los ciudadanos de San Fulgencio”.

The Local Police of San Fulgencio have new TETRA radio devices which, as indicated by the mayor of the municipality and head of Public Safety, José Sampere, will allow the officers to connect to and form part of the COMDES network, the mobile communications infrastructure for emergencies and security in the Valencia Region. It is a transmitter and thirteen portable devices whose acquisition has had a cost of 10,636 euros for the municipality, and that “are a fundamental tool for the coordination of actions in case of emergency, as were the floods produced by the DANA of 2019”, has indicated the mayor.
These devices have end-to-end encryption to ensure the privacy of communications, excellent audio quality and batteries with a battery life of up to 16 hours, which “will allow better communication and coordination of actions with the fire brigade, health services or Civil Protection”, said Sampere. Local police officers in San Fulgencio have already received the necessary training to learn how to use these devices and be able to incorporate them into their daily duties of surveillance of the municipality.
The Town Council has also added a new vehicle to its police fleet through leasing, which will be joined by another car before the end of the year. The acquisition of these vehicles is part of the process initiated by the Council last year to renew the fleet of the Local Police, which had cars whose age could result in a safety risk to the officers themselves. The mayor stressed the importance of having “a well-equipped police unit with the right tools”, as “this is the only way to ensure that they can carry out their duties correctly and at the same time guarantee the safety and security of all the citizens of San Fulgencio”.
